Salman Khan is deep into post-production on his next, Battle of Galwan, a war drama from director Apoorva Lakhia inspired by a chapter of India’s Most Fearless 3. While Salman’s character poster has already been revealed, fans are still waiting for the film’s first full look.
About the film
Battle of Galwan draws from the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers. Salman is expected to play Colonel B Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar regiment. The movie aims to capture the grit and gravity of that chapter in recent history.
First look: more mood than action
Insiders say multiple departments are working simultaneously to finish the film’s first promotional asset. The first look, they add, won’t be a straight-up action montage. “It will be more about positioning the world and introducing the film’s visual language,” a source revealed — suggesting a moody, atmospheric reveal rather than nonstop combat sequences.
Salman’s physical prep
Salman has been putting in intense work for the role. He told PTI the film is “physically demanding,” adding that his training has evolved over the years. “Earlier, I would do it in one or two weeks; now I’m running, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. This film demands that.”
What Salman has been up to lately
Besides the film, Salman recently wrapped a four-month stint hosting Bigg Boss 19. The finale crowned Gaurav Khanna as the winner, Farrhana Bhatt as first runner-up, and Pranit More in third place.
