Ranbir Kapoor wants Love And War ready by March, aims for June 2026 release

He wants at least a four-month gap between Love And War and Ramayana, and since Ramayana’s Diwali 2026 date is fixed, Ranbir has requested that Love And War hit theatres by June 2026 at the latest.
SLB prefers August, producer presses for June
Sources say Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen on an August release to coincide with Independence Day festivities. But Ranbir — backed by producer Namit Malhotra — feels that a June slot is safer so the box-office aftermath of Love And War doesn’t affect Ramayana, which is a far bigger project. The team around Ranbir is reportedly pressing SLB to accommodate the June window.
