Naagin: a genre switch to fantasy and mythology
Almost immediately after Eetha wraps, Shraddha will switch gears to begin work on Naagin. The film is being billed as a high-concept fantasy that draws on supernatural and mythological themes — a marked departure from the grounded, performance-driven nature of her current project.
According to a production insider: “Naagin has been in development for a long time, and the team wanted to get everything right — from the VFX design to the casting. With Shraddha locked in, the rest of the cast has fallen into place. The plan is to start shooting by April.”
